Wednesday, 2 September 2026: Older Persons Grant + War Veterans Grant

Thursday, 3 September 2026: Disability Grant

Friday, 4 September 2026: Children's Grants (Child Support, Foster Child, Care Dependency, Grant-in-Aid)

Monday, 7 September 2026: 4th Payment Day - ONLY for grants under review / eLife Certification


SRD R370 Grant: Will be paid on staggered dates later in September (mid to late September)


How Much Will SASSA Pay in September 2026?


Older Persons, Disability, Care Dependency: R2,400

War Veterans: R2,420

Foster Child Grant: R1,290

Child Support Grant and Grant-in-Aid: R580

SRD Grant: R370 (extended until March 2027)

SASSA says if you did not get paid on the normal dates, your grant is under REVIEW. Do NOT rush to SASSA offices.


You will be paid on Monday 7 September if you submitted your documents.
